I'm so glad you're here. Before you schedule your free consultation, I want to make sure we're a good fit — practically speaking. Taking a few minutes to read through this will help us make the most of our time together.

A few things to know first

All sessions are held virtually. I work exclusively with clients located in California. Therapy is regulated by state licensure, which means I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically in California at the time of each session.

Fees

Fees are due on the day of service using Zelle or card.

Individual Therapy

  • Free 15-Minute Phone Consultation

  • Initial Intake (80 min) — $300

  • Ongoing Sessions (50 min) — $200

  • Single Session (60 min) — $230

Couples Therapy

  • Free 15-Minute Phone Consultation

  • Initial Intake (2 hrs) — $350

  • Ongoing Sessions (75 min) — $250

  • Single Session (90 min) — $280

Sliding Scale

If cost is a barrier, I offer reduced rates, which are reevaluated every 3-6 months.

Individual therapy: $150 for 50-minutes; $250 for 90-minute intake.

Couples therapy: $200 for 75-minutes; $320 for 2-hour intake.

Reduced rates are offered on the honor system. If my full fee is within reach for you, please reserve the reduced rate for someone for whom it isn't.

Insurance

I am an out-of-network provider, which means session fees are paid out-of-pocket, and I do not bill insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement for individual therapy sessions. I provide a monthly superbill you can submit yourself, or I can invite you to Mentaya — a service that handles the reimbursement process automatically for a 5% fee per session.

Not sure what your plan covers? Use the benefits checker at the bottom of this page to find out before we connect.

Couples therapy is typically a private-pay service. Insurance reimbursement requires a mental health diagnosis, which a couple often does not qualify for. In some cases, one or both partners may meet criteria for a reimbursable diagnosis — and if that diagnosis becomes a clinical focus of the couples work, insurance billing may be possible. This will be evaluated during your intake session. You're welcome to check your potential benefits below as a first step, though whether reimbursement is possible will depend on the diagnosis determined at intake.

What the process looks like

If we decide we're a good fit on the consultation call, here's what comes next:

I will send you intake paperwork to fill out electronically. Once those forms are complete, we will schedule your intake session.

The intake session is longer than a typical therapy hour—90 minutes for individuals or 2 hours for couples—because we go deeper than surface-level questions from the start.

To hold your spot, a $50 deposit for the intake session is due via Zelle upon booking. This is fully refundable if you cancel with at least 24 hours’ notice. The balance of your intake fee is due on the day of your appointment.

Following the intake, we meet weekly (50-minute sessions for individuals and 75-minute sessions for couples). I always welcome longer sessions if you feel you need more space to process or want to dive deeper into a specific area. We can discuss adjusting our session length at any time.

While I recommend weekly sessions in order to create space and momentum for deep work, we can always tailor frequency to your specific needs and goals. If you are generally stable and your goals are focused on maintenance and support, a bi-weekly or monthly schedule may be appropriate from the start.
