I'm so glad you're here! Before you schedule a trial session, I want to make sure we're a good fit — practically speaking. Taking a few minutes to read through this will help us make the most of our time together.
A few things to know first
All sessions are held virtually. I work exclusively with clients located in California. Therapy is regulated by state licensure, which means I can only provide therapy to clients who are physically in California at the time of each session.
Fees
Fees are due on the day of service. I accept credit/debit card, HSA/FSA funds, and Zelle.
Individual Therapy
Initial Trial Session (45 min) — $140
Intake Session (80 min) — $250
Ongoing Sessions (50 min) — $160
Couples & Family Therapy
Initial Trial Session (50 min) — $190
Intake Session (110 minutes) — $300
Ongoing Sessions (75 min) — $250
Insurance
I am an out-of-network provider, which means session fees are paid out-of-pocket, and I do not bill insurance. Depending on your plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement for individual therapy sessions. I provide a monthly superbill you can submit yourself, or I can invite you to Mentaya — a service that handles the reimbursement process automatically for a 5% fee per session.
Not sure what your plan covers? Use the benefits checker at the bottom of this page to find out before we connect.
Couples & family therapy are typically private-pay services. Insurance reimbursement requires a mental health diagnosis, which a couple or dyad often do not qualify for. In some cases, one or both members may meet criteria for a reimbursable diagnosis — and if that diagnosis becomes a clinical focus of the therapy, insurance billing may be possible. This will be evaluated during your intake session. You're welcome to check your potential benefits below as a first step, though whether reimbursement is possible will depend on the diagnosis determined at intake.
What the process looks like
New clients can request a trial session using the button below. To reserve your spot, you'll need to complete intake paperwork — once I've reviewed it, I'll confirm your appointment.
While I recommend weekly sessions in order to create space and momentum for deep work, we can always tailor frequency to your specific needs and goals. If you are generally stable and your goals are focused on maintenance and support, a bi-weekly or monthly schedule may be appropriate.
I treat the first few sessions as a trial period for both of us. If at any point it doesn't feel like the right fit — for either of us — we can end our work together, and I will provide appropriate referrals to support your continued care.
